SMACO has completely redesigned and improved the SMACO portable air compressor . This article provides a detailed comparison between the old and new air compressors and introduces updates in four areas: basic parameters, internal/external accessories, external packaging , and cleaning and maintenance .

Basic parameters of SMACO portable air compressor

Comparing the basic parameters of the two air compressor versions, it can be seen that the new version of the air compressor is more compact and lighter and can absorb and conduct more power.

Internal/external accessories for air compressors

Interior

One-way valve seal : The first-level high-temperature piston ring has been replaced with a one-way valve seal and a high-pressure cylinder seal ring for easy cleaning.
Pressure relief valve seal: The pressure relief valve seal is replaced from the side down and the position of the drain outlet is changed to facilitate deflation during inflation.
Tool Kit: Along with the accessory update, the tool kit has been replaced with a combination that is more suitable for the new version of the portable air compressor.

External accessories

Thermovent : In addition to the two Thermovents on the side, we have added a Thermovent on the back to improve heat dissipation efficiency and reduce the risk of high temperatures.
Power switch: We've changed the original setting. The power switch on the old air compressor illuminated during inflation. Currently, the compressor power switch no longer has an indicator light.
Drain hole: The position is changed from the front to the bottom to prevent oil and water from splashing everywhere. If working indoors, you can prepare a dustproof or water-absorbent mat at the bottom in advance.

Air compressor packaging

We often received feedback from users that the delivered compressors simply didn't work or that parts were obviously falling off. Aside from privacy issues caused by aggressive couriers, we determined that packaging issues were the biggest cause. The carrier couldn't distinguish the front and back of the package during transport, and internal transport protection may have been insufficient. Therefore, our design and product development team immediately began improving and optimizing product packaging to ensure product quality and performance.

That's why we've added "↑↑" , "Keep it light" and other instructions to the outer original packaging and designed the handles on both sides of the box to make it easier to lift.

After the adjustment, no user reported any problems with the compressor.
